Gene Therapy

Gene therapy is a medical technique that modifies or replaces genes to treat or prevent disease. It works by introducing, removing, or altering genetic material within a person's cells to correct or compensate for faulty genes. This can be done using viral vectors, non-viral methods (such as lipid nanoparticles or electroporation), or gene-editing technologies like CRISPR.
